San Luis Obispo Engagement Photographer
Abby and I drove Niki and Tony around to some of our favorite photo locations here in San Luis Obispo. We started on Murry Street, then we headed to a Secret Oak Forrest in Los Osos, Montana De Oro, and finished up on Terrace Hill. We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Murry Street
Murry Street is located off of Cabrillo Highway and has sidewalk lined with a row of amazing beautiful trees. You can find the street HERE
Secrest Oak Forrest
There is a Secrest Oak Forest off the highway heading into Los Osos. You can hike around an find yourself under an amazing little oak canopy. the trail makes a nice loup and you will not be disappointed. Be sure to watch out for poison oak in the rainy months and spring. Here’s the google maps location for the parking lot.
Montana De Oro
Montana De Oro State Park has some of the most beautiful coastlines in California. I recommend parking near the eucalyptus trees and hiking in towards the sand dunes, but you can also further south to watch the waves crash into the cliffs. There are dozens of locations in the park so you can’t really go wrong exploring.
Terrace Hill
One of my favorite views of San Luis Obispo is from Terrace Hill. It’s a small walk up the hill where you will find a large clearing and a few park benches. From the top, you can see almost the entire town. I’ve taken several portraits from here and have never been disappointed. The sunsets are amazing and on some evenings, you can watch the fog roll in from the coast.

Port San Luis Lighthouse Engagement
Josh planned an amazing proposal to his future wife Laura, a few months ago at the Port San Luis Lighthouse, so we retraced their steps for a wonderful engagement session. Then we followed the lighthouse up with some of San Luis Obispo’s beautiful views.
