Suttle Lake Lodge Engagement

Amanda and RJ decided to take half of their engagement photos in the winter at Suttle Lake Lodge, just outside of Bend, Oregon. Although it was a bit chilly, there’s nothing that compares to photographing in a little snow storm. We brought a warm Pendleton blanket to fight the cold weather.  Amanda and RJ kept each other warm snuggled up in their blanket for some wonderful engagement portraits.

Winter in Bend this year has been a bit more severe than in past years but has created several snowy portrait opportunities. This has also been my first full winter photographing in Oregon, and I am loving it. Although I am ready for some warm weather, I’m glad we still have a couple of months of snow to photograph in.
