Winter Wedding at Elk Lake Resort
Nicole and AJ are Bend natives, and they live for winter, so they planned a winter wedding at Elk Lake Resort. Half of their guests rode out on snowmobiles while the rest were shuttled out in vehicles fixed with snow tracks. Nicole and AJ rented out several cabins for the weekend and filled them with about 60 of their family and closest friends. Since their wedding was in the middle of winter, they pretty much had the resort to themselves.
They held their Ceremony by the lake in a small patch of snow-covered pine trees. Their bridal rode into the ceremony on snowmobiles for the most unique professional I’ve seen yet. As planned, their wedding was quite simple and filled with giant snowflakes.
This is my first year of full-time wedding photography here in Oregon, and I can not wait for more weddings just like this.
