It is by far my favorite place to shoot. The best time for photos is weekdays from 8:30 am-10 am when there is less foot traffic. The trailhead is located here, and the walk is an easy 20 minutes. Wahclella Falls is now open again as of the fall of 2022. Permits may be needed in 2022 as well.
Oneonta Gorge is still closed as of spring 2022 due to fire damage from 2019.
