I was super fortunate to connect with Katy and Lauren through a former bride and groom from San Luis Obispo. Katy and Lauren were planning their wedding in Bend when they were having a conversation with one of my couples from several years ago and they realized that I was now in Bend. We immediately hit it off and I was able to photograph their wedding day and amazing Softball rehearsal dinner, catered by my favorite restaurant, El Sancho.

Their wedding was in the first week of July and the weather couldn’t have been better. It was just warm enough for an outdoor wedding, but definitely not too hot to hinder their day.

Katy and Lauren went above and beyond and wrote personal cards to each of their guests. I enjoyed photographing several of their guests sitting down surprised to see their love notes to each and every person.

Sanda from Bowtie Catering put together an amazing dinner for the evening. I love Bowtie’s food and the fact that they always put a plate together for me:)

The Brothers Reed handled the music for the afternoon and evening. These guys are a hoot. They are super fun and unique, and I can’t wait to see them at more weddings in the future.

The afternoon before their wedding, Katy and Lauren rented out Harmon Park for a softball game. They had their game catered by El Sancho, who makes the best tacos, in Bend.
