Our Ireland Adventure
After photographing an amazing wedding,(that you can check out here) we had a few days to road trip Ireland. We started from Bushmills in the north and then headed down to Doolin to see the Cliffs of Moher, and Dingle, to see the amazing peninsula.
We caught a glimpse of the norther nights around half way from JFK to Dublin. Here is Markree Castle, my new favorite wedding venue. I make my pretty wife model for my test shots. I had to grab a long exposure of us after the wedding. We started our tour in a small forest by a perfect little lake. Three out of four fish and chips in Ireland are amazing. The Guinness in Ireland is, hands down, tastier and creamier. Stayed a night in Bushmills, Ireland and tried a taster at the distillery.
Here is a full Irish breakfast. Delicious and really filling. We toured Giant’s Causeway and it was amazing.
Carrick-a-Rede Bridge was a quick fun stop. We wrapped up our tour of northern Ireland with The Dark Hedges. I love all of the stone walls throughout Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher were just stunning. Abby saw this castle from the road so we stopped and climbed around what was left of it.
Once we got to Dingle, Ireland some amazing storms started passing by.
Single lane road around the Dingle Peninsula.
We got lucky with one of the most amazing sunsets over the peninsula. Conor Pass looking south.Conor Pass looking north.Driving down the pass into a hail storm. More castles on our way back to Dublin.
