Canon 35mm f1.4 II + GFX 100s

Here are some sample images from the GFX 100s taken with the Canon 35mm f1.4 II using the Fringer GFX-EF Adapter. I photographed most of our trip to Austin in a 65×24 crop. This was a super fun aspect ratio. It pushed me to be more creative and the wider lens and shallow depth of field allowed me to capture scenes pretty much anywhere.

We started our trip at 4 am only to find that our 7 am flight was delayed until 1 pm. So here are a bunch of pictures of us wandering around a tiny airport with nothing to do.😂

We finally caught a flight to Denver where we took advantage of our priority pass for free food and drinks.

After a super long day of traveling, we arrived at the South Congres hotel where we received a really nice upgrade to a huge suite. It pays to use’s rewards program.

We grabbed some late-night pizza at Home Slice and then finally got some sleep. This place is pretty darn good.
On our first full day in Austin we atttmepted to walk into every retail store on South Congress. Was fun day.

We discovered Joann’s Fine Foods on the first day and ate almost half of our meals there. It was just too good.
