Soo Ji and Joo

Soo Ji and Joo chose Black Butte Ranch for their winter wedding in Sisters, OR. As luck would have it, there was freshly fallen snow for their big day, which was gorgeous. The images I captured show crisp sun flares through aspen trees accented with reflections on the water. Their intimate wedding was classy and tasteful. Nature was the star of the show on the Ranch.

The couple started their life together in a sweet, meaningful ceremony. Past the backdrop of their vows you’ll see mountains and moody forests adding richness to the moment and images. I loved photographing this winter wedding and seeing the unique beauty of their love. I absolutely loved the after-ceremony vibes. Joy was in the air with sunglasses on and champagne spraying. What a fun way to kick off this next chapter for this special couple.

Black Butte Ranch Summer Wedding

Brianna and Blake

When me and my family first moved to Bend, OR, we became fast friends with Brianna and Blake. When they asked me to photograph their Black Butte Ranch wedding in Sisters, OR, IO was stoked. These friends of mine are so fun and creative and I knew that their wedding day would provide a chance to photograph outside the box.

I love getting to know the couples I photograph. It truly is a huge part of why I love what I do do much. It’s a true bonus though when you get to photograph friends. Starting the Big Day with a level of comfort and familiarity brings an extra dose of fun before you even get started. On this wedding day I was not only so excited for my friends, I was privileged to document such special moments all round

Brianna and Blake were really relaxed and committed to just enjoying their Big Day. We laughed and tried unique shots that came out so cool. I love when couples have ideas or collaborate to photograph the unexpected. It was so fun to hang out with friends and work together to make sure their wedding at the Ranch was everything that they had hoped for.

Traditional shots were complimented by the beauty of nature and the rugged textures of the Black Butte Ranch architecture. Detail shots and intimate moments reflect the celebratory experience of the day. Timeless touches of decor made this wedding gallery so fun to compile.

Summer in Central Oregon really is a dream. The weather on this particular wedding day was amazing. Let’s talk about the sunset and that brilliant golden hour. Photographing these friends of mind knowing that we were getting epic photos was a blast. You never know what you’re going to get with lighting. This day was incredible. Mountains, water, and romantic fields give these photos such a romantic feel.

Taking the Plunge

You know it’s a party when the reception ends with a communal dive into the pool in their wedding attire. It was so fun capturing the moment of everyone committing to this silly celebratory moment. What a treat to see my friends so happy. Sharing in their wedding ceremony and true partaay was something I’ll always remember. Their love is worth celebrating and I am so thankful I got to be there.

Black Butte Ranch was the perfect location for Ashley and Marshall’s summer wedding. It was such a fun day photographing carefully curated details, moments of great emotions, and also just the fun of friends coming around those they love. The bride and groom and their wedding party were just that, a party.

Truth is, sometimes wedding days can be stressful. You’ll see in these photos that this day was simply fun.
