Bend, Oregon Couples and Maternity Portraits
Being a couples and maternity portrait photographer here in Bend Oregon has its perks, the fact there are endless backgrounds is definitely one of them. These good-looking married couples were all visiting or actually living in Bend and wanted photos in these amazing places.
Broken Top Sunrise
Hayley and Sam decided to commemorate their pregnancy by hiking up a mountain to take maternity portraits. They wanted to share this exciting news with their loved ones and make a special announcement. I have worked with these two before, capturing their wedding engagements, and every photo session has been incredible.
We set out to hike Broken Top at sunrise, and it was truly breathtaking. The sunrise we witnessed was one of the most stunning I have ever seen. The beauty of the Oregon wilderness provided a unique and picturesque backdrop for their maternity photos.
As a photographer, I am always looking for ways to capture special moments in unique and beautiful locations. The opportunity to photograph Hayley and Sam’s maternity portraits in such a stunning setting was a truly memorable experience. Oregon’s natural beauty truly shines as a perfect elopement wedding venue for adventurous couples like Hayley and Sam.
Tumalo Falls
Tumalo Falls can easily be accessed from June through mid-November. There is generally too much snow for the rest of the year. You can still hike in to see the falls, but getting close is a bit too dangerous. Do plan to get a little muddy or wet on your way down to the falls. The rest of the photos were taken at a hidden aspen forest and small park downtown in mid-October.
Smith Rock Portraits
Jake and Necia are photographers from California and wanted to capture a few maternity photos while visiting Redmond. We met up at Smith Rock and took photos of each other’s families. I love how both of our photos turned out.
Snow Park Portraits
Just outside of Bend there are several snow parks, where you can kick off a small adventure. Some of these snow parks even have warming huts where you can thaw out before or after playing in the snow. These two sessions were taken at Wanoga Snow Park. Feel free to reach out if you’re looking for some photos in these magical places.
Jennifer and Sergio
Jennifer and Sergio were visiting from California and were looking for some snowy portraits on their vacation. Lucky for them we had a small snowstorm in town.
If you are interested you can see the whole session in this rapids slideshow.
Amanda and Jason
Amanda and Jason get points for style. These coats were amazing and very appropriate for a blizzard.
The Painted Hills Portraits
Kelsee and Justin picked the Painted Hills for their maternity photos, and I am so glad they did. It’s a bit of a drive from bend, but it is just so darn pretty.
Bend Winter Portraits
Bend Oregon Winter Portrait Session
Matthew was looking for a photographer here in Bend, Oregon to surprise his wife with portraits. He found me online and we became instant friends. Matthew and his wife Summer are both Photographers from Twin Falls, Idaho and both create some amazing work. It’s always fun to photograph photographers, especially when they’re good looking and in love, like these two. We all got up early, grabbed a cup of coffee and headed to the mountains to beat the sunrise. We were fortunate to get some beautiful colors and some fun snowy weather. They kept each other warm and cozy while we snapped some beautiful portraits. More Portraits
