Round Lake is a Wedding Location here in Oregon

Round Lake is Located about an hour from Bend, Oregon. Google Maps Location This little lake is an amazing location for a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. Marian and Clayton chose round lake because it sits right in front of Three Fingered Jack, making for an epic backdrop.

The earliest you can usually drive to Round Lake is around the beginning of May. And SW Round Lake Road (NF-1210) will be open until October or November, depending on when snow levels bock the road. At the time of this post, you don’t need 4 wheel drive but the drive can be a bit bumpy.

Once you reach the lake you will find a boat launch on the east side and a few different locations for a ceremony and portraits. I recommended photographing closer to sunset if possible.  Also, this bride and groom brought a canoe, which made for some amazing photos. If you do have a canoe or small boat, I would definitely bring it along.
